Writing is not simply about getting the message across. It’s also about style, format, proper spelling and decent grammar. Notice I said decent grammar. It doesn’t have to be perfect because if you never end a sentence with a preposition (with, about, of, etc.) your writing will sound stilted and un-engaging.
